Juventus have leapfrogged Real Madrid to reach third place in the UEFA club rankings, behind only Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

The recent results from both clubs in the Champions League have allowed the Bianconeri to surge in front of the Merengues.

Juve have already qualified for the Round of 16, whereas Real Madrid are currently third in the group with Borussia Monchengladbach, Shakhtar Donetsk and Inter.

Bayern Munich remain in top spot after winning the 2019-20 Champions League trophy and picking up where they left off this season.

Roma are the next highest Italians in 18th place, then Napoli 20th, Inter 25th and Atalanta 30th.

Lazio are in 37th position and Milan all the way down in 59th, as they have been in and out of UEFA competition in recent years.
