Juventus resumed contact with Sassuolo over the weekend and the Bianconeri are reportedly optimistic of closing a deal.

The Bianconeri continue to chase Locatelli and are ready to launch another bid after a week of reflection.

Tuttosport reports the Turin side are optimistic of closing a deal with the Neroverdi worth €32m in total.

A two-year loan with an obligation to buy linked to the Champions League should be the latest offer for the Italy midfielder, who has snubbed moves to the Premier League in order to push through a deal with the Serie A giants.

The fourth meeting is imminent and Juventus are hoping to finally convince Sassuolo, who signed the 23-year-old on a permanent deal from Milan in July 2019.
