Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic will spend much of the early part of the summer of the club’s Continassa training base as he looks to overcome a groin injury, according to reports in Italy.

The forward was not selected by Serbia for their upcoming UEFA Nations League clashes, leading to speculation he could be nursing an injury.

And Gazzetta dello Sport report he is struggling with a groin issue and is focusing the close season on getting over it.

Vlahovic has been dealing with the issue for some time, according to the report, but it has grown into a more serious problem which the 22-year-old has decided to deal with.

Juve fans have spotted Vlahovic entering the training ground alongside team-mate Federico Chiesa, who is also working to overcome a long-term knee injury.

By focusing on his groin issue now, the hope is Vlahovic is able to train with his team-mates as normal in a month’s time, according to the report.

The Serbia forward joined from Fiorentina in January and has made 21 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals.
