A big part of the Allianz Stadium crowd applauded Leo Messi when the Argentinean was announced before the kick-off of a Champions League clash between Juventus-PSG.

The Serie A giants play their last Champions League match this season, having been eliminated from the competition last week after a 4-3 loss against Benfica.

Tonight, they host PSG at the Allianz Stadium. It kicks off at 20.00 UK time.

As per tradition, the away team was booed when players were announced before kick-off, but there was one exception this time.

Juventus fans stopped booing and a big part of the Allianz Stadium crowd applauded Leo Messi when the Argentinean star was announced.

The Bianconeri aim to get to Europa League by finishing third in Group H, but they need a better result than Maccabi Haifa, who host Benfica tonight. If they finish level on points, the Serie A giants will need a better goal difference than the Israeli side.
