Juventus are navigating the choppy waters of an injury crisis and they’re expecting to recover both Angel Di Maria and Wojciech Szczesny for their Champions League clash with Benfica.

The Bianconeri are currently without seven players for their evening game against Salernitana today, with Adrien Rabiot being the latest to suffer an injury. Massimiliano Allegri’s are understandably severely limited but a light may be flickering at the end of the tunnel now for the Old Lady.

As reported by Tuttosport, Juventus expect both Di Maria and Szczesny to be fit enough to face Benfica in their Champions League clash with Benfica on September 14, giving Allegri a little more breathing room.

The Bianconeri’s frustrating 2-1 loss to Paris Saint-Germain earlier this week means the pressure is on to get a strong result against their Portuguese opposition.

Manuel Locatelli and Adrien Rabiot are both likely to miss the game, joining the seriously injured Paul Pogba, Federico Chiesa, Kaio Jorge and Marley Ake on the sidelines.
