According to the latest rumours from Sky Sport Italia and Sport Mediaset, Maurizio Sarri has decided to drop Pjanic in favour of a more balanced midfield.

This would have Rodrigo Bentancur in the central role, flanked by Aaron Ramsey and Blaise Matuidi.

Matthijs de Ligt and Leonardo Bonucci should be the centre-back pairing, leaving Giorgio Chiellini on the bench.

Inter are without Victor Moses, Roberto Gagliardini and Kwadwo Asamoah, but Antonio Conte doesn’t quite trust Christian Eriksen enough to start this crucial game.

Alessandro Bastoni should be preferred to Godin in defence, with Marcelo Brozovic running the midfield.

Probable line-ups

Juventus (4-3-3): Szczesny; Danilo, De Ligt, Bonucci, Alex Sandro; Ramsey, Bentancur, Matuidi; Cuadrado, Dybala, Cristiano Ronaldo

Inter (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Candreva, Vecino, Brozovic, Barella, Young; R Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez
