Juventus coach Max Allegri is embroiled in an increasingly ugly legal battle with his ex-girlfriend, as it emerges he asked to lower alimony payments because he was ‘unemployed.’

The row is with his former partner Claudia Ughi and the monthly payment Allegri must make to help look after their son, who was born in 2011.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, it was Allegri who tried in January 2021 to lower the alimony payment from €10,000 per month to just €5,000 because he was registered as ‘unemployed’ and his financial situation had changed.

Of course, he was fired by Juventus in May 2019 and took a year off still receiving full pay, because he had one more year left on his contract with the Bianconeri.

After a two-year break, Allegri returned to management at Juventus in July 2021.

His appeal to reduce the payment was rejected, so now Allegri’s lawyers have launched a new case accusing his ex-girlfriend of using the money that was meant to be for their child and instead using it for personal spending.

He also claims she used this money to help pay university tuition fees for a child she had from a previous relationship.

It’s hardly the first time Allegri has been in the news for his romantic escapades, as he famously left one partner practically at the altar and last summer was gossip fodder when television presenter Ambra Angiolini accused him of ‘ghosting’ her at the end of their relationship.

He has a daughter, Valentina, from his marriage to former Playboy model Gloria Patrizi.

  1. 10k a month is 120k a year. That is 4 times the average wage and its tax free. With such an insane policy how can you ever expect someone to work? She is on six figures and doesn’t even have to scratch her arse

  2. CALMAAA!!!

PhD Max can do all the playboy antics off the field that he wants. He is an old man, cheap like an Englishman and a master of the back, back, down, down. Credit to him for getting all those milfs, as he is bald, ugly, but somehow made it to the top. Now he is ruining the 7/9 CL losers as expected. Just throw in Secco and the puzzle is complete. Agnelli and the Laramie girl are giving him no child support. Instead Sun Tzu Max will be given a 34 years young winger, and Montero will be coming back to fill the center back void.

  3. So he was indeed unemployed in January 2021.

His year off with full pay would have ended in May 2020.
