Roma director Tiago Pinto is set to meet Olympique Marseille to discuss selling Justin Kluivert, Jordan Veretout and Amadou Diawara.

The Portuguese transfer expert is currently in Milan, which is the focal point for the Italian transfer market over the summer.

He already met with the agent of Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi and secured Nemanja Matic as a free agent from Manchester United.

The focus now turns towards whittling down the squad and getting rid of some of the players who are not part of coach Jose Mourinho’s plans for the future.

Several of them could end up going to France for Olympique Marseille, according to Sportitalia.

Veretout has also been linked with Fiorentina, while Diawara barely featured at all in the Giallorossi jersey this season.

As for Kluivert, the 23-year-old winger was on loan at OGC Nice in Ligue 1, but they have not activated their option to buy for €14.5m.

His contract only runs to June 2023, so Roma are now desperate to sell him on.

The son of Patrick Kluivert was purchased from Ajax in 2018 for €17.25m, but never really made his mark in Serie A.
