Players were booed off after the half-time whistle and at the end of the match, while coach Massimiliano Allegri stormed off the pitch keeping his head down.

Many Juventus players looked irritable, and Dusan Vlahovic was even sent off for dissent minutes before the full-time whistle.

Juventus remain third in the Serie A table, but 5th-placed Roma are 11 points below the Old Lady with a game in hand.

Juventus collected six points in the last five games, winning and losing once and drawing three times.

Their next Serie A game after the break is against Lazio on Saturday, March 30, at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
