Milan legend Alessandro Costacurta thinks that Juventus should do all they can to sign Radja Nainggolan from Cagliari.

The Old Lady are expected to bring in a new midfielder before the end of this month and the Belgian is being strongly linked, as is Valon Behrami of Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”8″>Fiorentina.

“I’d go for the younger player, therefore the Belgian,” Billy told Sky Sport Italia. “I fell in love with him as a footballer when he was at Piacenza.

“Behrami is not a bad player, but Nainggolan has something extra.

“Juve director general Beppe Marotta would have done some extraordinary work if he adds the Cagliari midfielder to Marco Borriello and Martin Caceres.

“They are all players who can start in the first team or accept the bench.”

Juve brought in Borriello from Roma at the start of this month and Caceres is on the verge of completing his move to Turin.

“The Uruguayan is one of the most versatile defenders in the European game,” Costacurta continued.

“He’ll be important because it would allow boss Antonio Conte to play with a three-man defence as they did on Tuesday in the Cup.

“I’ve always liked Caceres too. I thought he did well during the 2009-10 campaign at Juventus.”

Caceres will have his Juventus medical this morning.
