It comes amidst speculation linking both players with moves away from San Siro this summer.

Milan were reportedly ready to cut their losses on Paqueta after an indifferent season, while Bonaventura’s contract expires on June 30.

Up top, however, Rafael Leao missed out for the second time, with Hakan Calhanoglu playing off lone striker Ante Rebic in Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s absence.

Juve, for their part, tested Paulo Dybala in a false nine role alongside Douglas Costa and Cristiano Ronaldo as Gonzalo Higuain is still nursing a muscle problem.

The rest of their starting XI is said to pick itself, with the only runoff coming at centre-back, which Matthijs de Ligt is winning ahead of captain Giorgio Chiellini.

Juventus training XI (4-3-3): Buffon; Cuadrado, De Ligt, Bonucci, Alex Sandro; Khedira, Bentancur, Matuidi; Costa, Dybala, Ronaldo

Milan’s training XI (4-2-3-1/4-3-2-1): Donnarumma; Conti, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Calabria; Kessie, Bennacer, Bonaventura, Paqueta, Calhanoglu, Rebic
