The much-anticipated meeting at Milan's Principe di Savoia hotel didn't take place yesterday afternoon, but the two parties talked over dinner later that evening.

It is being claimed that Juventus director general Beppe Marotta met with Udinese's Gino Pozzo about both players, but particularly Inler as Sanchez continues to be valued at €35m.

It's alleged that Udinese have asked the Turin giants for €18m in order to complete their swoop for the Swiss international.

That figure is quite steep for the Old Lady who are keen to see that fee lowered by offering cash and players.

The Turin giants have offered Manuel Giandonato, Luca Marrone and Albin Ekdal to the Friuli outfit.

However, the Udine-based club are more interested in Frederik Sorensen, Paolo De Ceglie or Sebastian Giovinco.

Napoli are also keen on Inler and have apparently already agreed terms with Udinese, but the player would prefer a Turin switch.

Bayer Leverkusen and Fenerbahce are also keen.
