Genoa Coach Ivan Juric admits his team’s trip to Atalanta will be a tough and high-pressure meeting.

The Rossoblu have 15 points from their opening nine matches of the campaign and travel to Bergamo on the back of a 3-0 victory over Milan.

“We are focused on the match,” Juric told reporters. “The important thing is to put on a performance and win to make the fans happy.

“They [Atalanta] are a very tough team who have scored a lot of goals from set pieces. They have secured important results after a difficult start.

“It will be a high-pressure match, we will need to battle. We will see who pushes for it.”

Juric then revealed that he had been more satisfied with his players’ performance in their recent derby defeat to Sampdoria than in the convincing win over the Rossoneri.

“In the derby the boys pleased me more, then we made some mistakes against Milan but we didn’t pay for them.”
