Inzaghi held a Press conference today to discuss the game, although his first priority was to honour today's passing of one of Lazio's greatest goalkeepers.
"Before anything else," said the 42-year-old, "I wish to take a moment to remember Felice Pulici, who passed away today. It's terrible news, and not just for Lazio.
"I have a good memory of him. When I arrived here in 1999, he was a point of reference, and he really helped me integrate with the club. We lose a truly great Laziale, and above all a great man."
The Coach then went on to discuss the Aquile's upcoming opponents, the most dangerous man of which, he believes, is Gasperini.
"We know what we'll be facing in Bergamo: an excellent team with a top-notch Coach, who has my unqualified respect. Alongside (Juventus boss Max) Allegri, he is the best in Italy.
"Ever since I've trained in Serie A, I've been locking horns with Atalanta. That's thanks to Gasperini's work, which has consistently kept the team high up in the standings.
"For our own part, we've been short of something in our process of development. It's a problem that every other team has to deal with too, with the exception of Juventus.
"I'm really sorry about the goal we conceded at the 99th minute against Sampdoria, those three points were important. Nevertheless, we managed to keep pace with the standings.
"We've only been defeated in Europe, where we no longer had anything to fight for, although I saw a different team on Thursday. Tomorrow I want the lads to keep a compact form and fight for every ball."
Lazio now face a double challenge, as they will have to compete for the fourth place in Serie A, and also in the ongoing Europa League tournament.
"I don't really think care that Milan got knocked out of the Europa League, the international path is always thorny. Time will tell if this turn of events works out to their advantage.
"As for the European draws, my mind is entirely to Atalanta right now, and to the upcoming games in Serie A. We did our job in a tough group.
"I'll see what the draw has in store for us, but I am wholly focused on the championship."
