Simone Inzaghi warns Inter ‘have to play with temperament’ to get the better of Walter Mazzarri’s Cagliari, but it’s an important stage of the season with rivals dropping points.

The Nerazzurri know a win would put them top of the table after Milan were held by Udinese, while Napoli lost at home to Empoli and dropped to fourth behind Atalanta.
“It is our seventh game in a short space of time, so I want to rotate where possible,” Inzaghi told DAZN when explaining Alexis Sanchez’s rare start.
“We know that we need a tough performance, because Cagliari are in good shape and deserve more points than they currently have.”
Inter are seeking a fifth consecutive Serie A victory, whereas Napoli and Milan are dropping points recently.
“I think it’s an important stage of the season, we’re almost at the halfway stage. Naturally, there’s a long way to go and we have to focus on improving ourselves every day, not what the others are doing.
“We have to play with temperament this evening, because it won’t be easy.”
