Former Milan director Adriano Galliani reveals that Zlatan Ibrahimovic almost punched Massimiliano Allegri after Milan’s 3-0 loss against Arsenal in the Champions League in 2012.

Ibrahimovic joined Milan for his first spell at the club in the summer of 2010.

He spent two seasons with the Rossoneri, winning one Serie A title under Massimiliano Allegri.

The striker and the coach didn’t always get along. In 2012, the Diavoli managed to qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals despite a 3-0 loss against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

They had beaten the Gunners 4-0 in the reverse fixture at San Siro, but Ibrahimovic didn’t take that defeat too well.

Ibrahimovic: ‘I don’t need the Ballon d’Or to prove that I am the best’

“It was a terrible game, everybody was happy after the match, but when we entered the locker room Ibra was screaming like a mad man,” Galliani said during the presentation of Ibrahimovic’s book in Milan.

“He almost beat Allegri up because he had brought two goalkeepers in the bench. Ibra is never happy. He is never satisfied. He always wants the maximum.

“If he draws or finishes second, he gets angry. He is never satisfied, and this is his best quality.”

Ibrahimovic also spoke during the event, discussing the secret to his longevity and admitting that the opportunity to win the Scudetto with Milan this season is what motivates him.

  1. Meanwhile Juve players and fans will throw a party, make social media videos and worship the cowardly allegri as their saint and patron no matter how humiliated their football as long as they get lucky with a result.

The difference between lions and dogs.

  2. @nana : ibra lion cause he win, allegri too because he win. They do it on the pitch. while you’re the dog whose just barking on the couch, complaining and commenting negatively based on television.

  3. The juve thing is a problem with the players , ever since Gonzalo H went we never had a striker then relied on cr7 they lost that balance the sparkle take a look at fiorentina they are growing as a team because they have a top striker ! He will be off soon lol

  4. @Christo you are the dog I am talking about. What type of fan celebrate “luck”? Dogs follow orders, runs to their (your) master (allegri) with (your) tails between your legs and lick his bottom whatever he did. Destroyed by chelsea and luckily win against malmo then celebrate zenit’s draw (something they should achieve but cant bcoz your impotent manager). Embarassing. As sturaro once said, “dogs will be dogs”

@Sufghan yeah 9 titles because there’s no competition. Now every teams play for win. When all teams get competitive, it is a different game. And where juventus at right now? 1st? 2nd? 3rd?
