What you need to know: Mauricio Pocchetino has a vibrant young team, with star striker Harry Kane the top-scorer at this summer’s World Cup.

They exited European competition at the hands of Juventus last season, but gave the Old Lady a real scare.

Their last clash with Inter was notable for the torrid time Gareth Bale gave right-back Maicon in a 3-1 win for the English side.

PSV

Country: Netherlands

Best Champions League/European Cup result: Winners [1988]

What you need to know: PSV won their 24th Eredivisie title last season, pipping rivals Ajax to the crown by four points.

Coach Mark van Bommel will be familiar to Inter fans, having ended his career with Milan.
