The January transfer window has shut, but Inter are already working on the summer for a double Sassuolo swoop of Davide Frattesi and Gianluca Scamacca.

Beppe Marotta was very active mid-season to snap up Robin Gosens from Atalanta and Genoa striker Felipe Caicedo.

According to Calciomercato.com, the groundwork is already being laid for a double summer deal with the Neroverdi.

The primary target is midfielder Frattesi, who is valued at circa €25m.

The 22-year-old has also been linked with Napoli and Juventus, making an impact with four goals and two assists in 22 Serie A appearances so far this season.

He isn’t the only objective in the current Sassuolo ranks, as centre-forward Scamacca has also been lined up by the Nerazzurri.

Scamacca turned 23 last month and already has two senior caps for Italy, after nine goals in 15 games at Under-21 level.

He found the net nine times in 22 Serie A appearance this term, prompting calls for him to replace Ciro Immobile in the Italy side facing North Macedonia in the 2022 World Cup.

  1. Beppe ‘Average’ Marotta going for the Sensi-level of players again!

They’re not bad players, but they won’t help Inter to compete at European level.

  2. Italian football ‘at risk of insolvency’, claims Inter Milan chief Beppe Marotta ….. do not complain like a cry baby about money if you plan to splash the cash this summer! Stop being a stingy miser and just it – you can’t expect Government to subsidize Inter’s transfers !

  3. @I MISS MARCO BRANCA AT INTER… Tell your boss to not talk about Super League because the same reason then!!!!

…Do not complain like a cry baby about Super League and money if you plan to splash 75m in one player in winter! Stop being a stingy miser and just it – you can’t expect Government and Mafia to subsidize Juve’s transfers !

@Zambrotta… Beppe ‘Average’ Marotta, already sinked Juve ship in less than 3 years. How it is averagely funny, right?

  4. @I MISS JUVE IN SERIE B: Was Mr Zhang one of the 12 owners that initiated the Super League ? i mean if he was then clearly it applies to all 12 teams which includes Inter correct ????

Besides, it’s not like Juve lost 65% of annual revenue unlike Inter – or unlike inter did not pay for the EPL rights which they already sold, distributed and collected their money on !

  5. @Branca don’t be a ret*rd. He said Italian football and that means everyone from top to bottom. Even if Inter and Juve won’t go bankrupt without the Super League, the same can’t be said for the rest of the league especially the bottom clubs. This is why plastic fans are famed for their idiocy, you think your corrupt club can stand alone without others? why so stupid?
