If Paulo Dybala leaves Juventus as a free agent, the Bianconeri could reportedly target Roma talent Nicolò Zaniolo and Sassuolo striker Giacomo Raspadori.

Dybala’s contract will expire on June 30 and negotiations on an extension had seemingly reached a positive conclusion at €10m per season plus bonuses.

However, the situation changed and discussions were postponed until after the January transfer window, when Dusan Vlahovic was drafted in from Fiorentina for €75m plus bonuses.

Pinto: ‘No guarantees’ Zaniolo stays at Roma, while Chelsea have Abraham clause

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have already set their sights on two possible new entries in Turin over the summer.

The first is Zaniolo, who has long been on the Bianconeri’s radar and it’s reported the negotiations began in earnest with the player’s entourage in December.

Zaniolo’s current contract with Roma runs until June 2024, but today Giallorossi director Tiago Pinto spoke in  press conference.

He confessed there was “no guarantee” that Zaniolo will still be at Roma next season.

Another Juventus candidate for the summer is striker Raspadori, who has been used as a False 9, but ultimately prefers to drop off the main centre-forward.

9 thought on “Zaniolo and Raspadori on Juventus radar if Dybala leaves”
  1. Juve needs to improve in all it’s areas. Juve needs more faster wingers like Chiesa. Moussa Diaby and Heu Ming Son will be great for the team.

  2. Why not give Dybala a 10 mill contract instead of a 7 mill. That’s 3 mill. more. Splashing 40-50 mill on a player far from Dybala level is crazy.

  3. Doesn’t make sense to have a strike partnership of Scamacca and Vlahovic IMO. Most likely both will go to Inter, who need to replace Sanchez and Dzeko. Two of the three of Lautaro, Scamacca and Dybala will play every game, so I don’t think there is an issue of there not being space for all three of them.

  4. Dybala is injury prone this is the reason for backing away from a 10 mill evaluation, 7 million is a fair evaluation for his service, Dybala and his agent understand it cost money to replace him and are trying to bear hug juve into paying up, history should teach us something about players like him ramsey and kadirha its better to have them leave then to be stuck with a player who rarely plays and earns big money as takers are few and far between for players like this who hold these large pay packets

  5. @Luigi- spare yourself the disappointment and stop talking about Dybala to Inter. First, Dzeko and Sanchez aren’t going anywhere next year with the wages they’re making (thank Marotta for that). Second, you forgot about Correa, so if Scamacca signs that’s 5 players for two positions. And third, if Dybala leaves Juve because they won’t pay him enough, how could Inter pay more? Why would a player who loves Juve join their bitter rivals… for less money?

  6. Juventus must sell contract rebel i agree the idea of offloading Dybala from juventus because he got injured and aways from many games so 10m per season is much expensive even 7m also expensive for a player of always get injured forza juve bring Zaniolo, Dempele, Scamacca and player like Conhokllo
