Inter have informed Milan Skriniar and his entourage that they won’t raise their final contract offer, reports detail.

La Gazzetta dello Sport highlights how the Nerazzurri’s most recent offer to the 27-year-old Slovakian centre back was a deal worth around €6m net per season, which would make him one of the highest paid players in their squad.

Paris Saint-Germain have already offered Skriniar a contract worth €7.5m net per season plus add-ons, which could take his salary to €9m per year.

The Slovakian defender’s entourage had asked Inter to raise their offer to around €7-7.5m including add-ons, but the club have made it clear that they won’t budge from their position.

The ball is now in Skriniar’s court and the player will meet with his entourage in the coming days to clarify the situation. After this, they will inform the Nerazzurri of the 27-year-old’s decision.

Skriniar’s contract expires with Inter at the end of this season and the club are anxiously awaiting his next move.
