Inter are looking at Borussia Dortmund’s Manuel Akanji, with Milan Škriniar expected to leave this summer, according to reports in Germany.

Škriniar has reportedly been the subject of several bids from Paris Saint-Germain this month and another offer is expected in the coming days.

Inter are already lining up replacements and have been strongly linked with a move for Torino‘s Gleison Bremer who was named Serie A Defender of the Year last term.

And Bild report Akanji is also on the Nerazzurri’s radar.

According to the latest in Germany, Akanji has decided not to extend his Dortmund contract as he enters the final year of his deal and Bild believe Dortmund are looking for a fee of around €30 million.

The report adds that, while there is also interest from Juventus, Arsenal and Manchester United, Inter are in pole position to sign the Switzerland international.

Akanji joined Dortmund from Basel in 2018 and has played 155 matches.
