Inter President Massimo Moratti has admitted that he would re-sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic if he had the chance.

Ibra left the Nerazzurri in 2009 after making a move to Barcelona, but less than a year later he returned to Italy – this time with city rivals Milan.

"I would take him back today, that's for certain," the Inter chief noted. "Despite everything, he is the one player who helps you win the championship."

The Swedish international has amazingly won the League title with every club he has been at for the last eight years – Ajax, Juventus, Inter, Barcelona and now Milan.

Moratti went on to also praise another former Nerazzurri striker who also had a stint with the club's city rivals.

"Milan's Silvio Berlusconi says he would do anything to bring back Kaka? If he was younger then I would take back Ronaldo…"

Inter haven't enjoyed the success of last season's treble, but they could still end the campaign with the Coppa Italia. And then the transfer window will open.

"I think we need players with a long future ahead of them, therefore we need some youngsters," Moratti concluded.
