Inter host Sassuolo this evening and will take the opportunity to scout transfer targets Gianluca Scamacca and Davide Frattesi.

The Serie A match kicks off at San Siro at 17.00 GMT.

A win would put the Nerazzurri top of the table with a game in hand, as Milan were held 2-2 by Salernitana last night.

This game represents an opportunity not only for the result, but also because Inter are targeting a pair of Sassuolo players who are expected to start.

Striker Scamacca is their primary aim, with an approach already made last summer and again in January.

Sassuolo want at least €40m for the 22-year-old centre-forward, but the Corriere dello Sport argue that Inter could bring the price-tag right down by providing an alternative in the form of Andrea Pinamonti, who is currently on loan with Empoli.

As for Frattesi, the 22-year-old midfielder is a product of the Roma youth academy and spent last season on loan in Serie B with Monza.

So far this term, he has four goals and two assists in 24 Serie A appearances.
