According to Tuttosport and the Corriere dello Sport, Suning are prepared to invest €150m on the transfer market next summer to make the struggling side more competitive.

The main targets are Real Madrid creative midfielder James Rodriguez, who is frustrated at the lack of regular playing time, and Paris Saint-Germain star Verratti.

This week Verratti’s agent confirmed the former Pescara player is a Juventus fan and “would run” to the Bianconeri if the right offer came in.

Verratti would represent one of the few Italians at Inter and therefore stand out as the example of a new era.

Tuttosport also note bids for Benfica defender Victor Lindelof.
