Inter are reportedly in pole position for Manchester United’s Anthony Martial, who may not sign a new contract.

The Frenchman has been linked with Juventus in the past, with his contract due to expire in the summer.

The Red Devils do have an option to extend that to 2020, which they would surely take up, but if he is determined to leave he could be available for a knockdown price in the summer.

Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio is a long-term admirer of Martial, and Tuttosport reports that they are in pole position to sign him if he leaves Old Trafford.

“Obviously I would like him to stay,” United manager Jose Mourinho said on Friday.

“I know the club wants him very much to stay. Hopefully he is going to stay.”
