SportItalia believe Inter could close out a deal for Sassuolo star Davide Frattesi as early as next week, once the sale of Marcelo Brozovic to Al-Nassr has been finalised.

The Saudi side have reportedly agreed a deal worth around €23m for the Croatian midfielder, allowing the Nerazzurri to generate some resources and free up a space in their squad for a key arrival. Brozovic is expected to pen a three-year contract worth around €20m per season.

Frattesi has grown into Inter’s priority target for the summer transfer window. In the background, Chelsea have ruled out a new loan deal for Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Thuram will join as a free agent.

As reported by SportItalia, Inter want to close out a deal for Frattesi soon and the decisive day could be Wednesday June 28, putting the pressure on other interested parties like Juventus, Roma, and Milan.

On Friday, the 23-year-old midfielder told La Gazzetta dello Sport that he’d “chosen his next club”, which the same paper reported was Inter earlier this month.
