Ciro Immobile is increasingly likely to lead the Italy attack against Portugal with Lorenzo Insigne and Federico Chiesa, while over 62,000 tickets have been sold.

The Nations League clash kicks off at San Siro on Saturday at 19.45 GMT.

Over 62,000 tickets have now been sold for the match in Milan, which is the Azzurri’s last group game in the Nations League.

The Nazionale have to beat Portugal to have any hope of making it into the Final Four, but are at least sure they won’t be relegated after a 1-0 victory in Poland.

Federico Bernardeschi pulled out of the squad due to injury, so Domenico Berardi and Matteo Politano were options to step in to the trident attack.

Instead, once again in training today, Roberto Mancini moved Insigne back to his more traditional wide left role and put Immobile in as the centre-forward.

Fiorentina talent Chiesa completes the attacking trident in a 4-3-3 formation.

Immobile has seven goals in 33 senior Italy caps, but fired blanks in his last eight appearances, last finding the net in a 1-0 World Cup qualifier against Israel in September 2017.

Other than that, it seems to be heading towards the same side that won in Poland, with Cristiano Biraghi and Alessandro Florenzi as full-backs around Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini.

Marco Verratti and Jorginho can again combine in midfield, with Cagliari’s Nicolò Barella so far the favourite rather than Roma man Lorenzo Pellegrini.

Italy (probable): Donnarumma; Florenzi, Bonucci, Chiellini, Biraghi; Barella, Jorginho, Verratti; Chiesa, Immobile, Insigne
