Lazio hitman Ciro Immobile has made history, setting a record that since 2016-17 was only achieved by Robert Lewandowski, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Italy international took under five minutes to break through against Milan at the Stadio Olimpico this evening.

That consolidated his status as current Serie A Capocannoniere with 25 goals.

It was the third time he has scored at least 25 goals since joining Lazio in 2016-17.

During the same period, the only players to have achieved this in Europe’s top five leagues were Lewandowski at Bayern Munich, Messi at Barcelona and Cristiano Ronaldo between Real Madrid and Juventus.

  1. Who cares? He is still a dud who shoots blanks for Italy. The sad fact is that scoring more than 25 goals in Italy is not that great an achievement anymore due to Serie A having declined in quality. This guys struggled to score in Germany for Dortmund and would struggle in England and Spain.

  2. who cares how many goals he scored in serie A world cup disaster we have to see other teams on the TV 2 times out of world cup disaster he is to blame and mancini not to play other players better bye

  3. Thank God Mario Baletolli didn’t play the world cup playoff against North Macedonia, like all the blames would have gone to him because of the colour of his skin.
