Milan congratulated Italian tennis sensation Jannik Sinner after he won his first title with his Croatia Open victory on Sunday.

The 20-year-old – a Rossoneri supporter – is tipped for big things on the court and took a two-sets-to-love lead over Novak Djokovic at this summer’s Wimbledon championship before eventually losing in three sets.

After overcoming fellow Italian Franco Agamenone in the semi-finals, Sinner came from a set down to beat Carlos Alcaraz in the final 6-7 6-1 6-1.

  1. First title? Of the year or first one in Umag :-D. Sinner won 4 ATP titles last year and one title in 2020.

  2. DC

I think this Andrew ‘Cesare’ Richardson had a tough weekend. This is the second ‘article’ he has messed up. He probably hadn’t even heard of Sinner before someone told him to write about it. On the other article, he thought there is an Italian first name of ‘Honey’ πŸ˜‚

  3. He’s unbelievably talented, and very similar in playing style to the living legend Nole Djokovic, who is intriguingly another Rossonero!!

Sinner-Djokovic in the Wimbledon was a spectacle, while his rivalry with fellow prodigy Carlos Alcaraz is going to be the next beautiful decade-plus rivalry in Tennis (he is 2-0 up now).

  4. Don’t relate the donkey cheese connoisseur aka immigration dodging Kosovan to Milan, plastic.

Sinner is a lifelong Milan fan and has integrity unlike the immigration dodger with his Serbian mafia faked paperwork.
