Roma midfielder Amadou Diawara is refusing to leave the Stadio Olimpico, according to reports in Italy.

The Guinea international joined the Giallorossi from Napoli in 2019 but has failed to nail down a regular starting place.

He made just four Serie A appearances last season.

And Il Messaggero report that, despite having three offers on the table, Diawara is refusing to leave Roma.

According to the report. Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin have made a proposal, along with Turkish giants Galatasaray, where he would be reunited Sérgio Oliveira, who was at Roma last season on loan from Porto.

Meanwhile, newly promoted Lecce have made the 25-year-old an offer to stay in Serie A.

However, none of the potential destinations suit Diawara, the report adds.

Il Messaggero report he will be training separately and kept away from the first team in the hope he changes his mind and accepts an offer to leave the club.

  1. Lazy, lazy player who is just there for the wages. I hope after his contract runs out no one touches him. He’s a disgrace to the sport and our club.
