“Winning this honour again is as emotional for me now as it was the first time I won the award,” he claimed.
Ibra’s future at San Siro was placed into doubt earlier this year when questions were raised about his hunger for the game.
“It’s not true that I no longer have a desire to play football. I was misunderstood,” he added. “I will play on as long as I keep developing.
“I’m really happy at Milan and I want to remain until the end of my contract.”
Ibra, who is contracted to the Rossoneri until 2014, is back on form and a major reason behind the club’s current run of five consecutive victories in Serie A this term.
“We are growing game after game,” he noted. “As long as we believe in ourselves then we will go far. We may not be favourites for all the competitions we are in, but nothing can be excluded.”
The former Ajax, Juventus” data-scaytid=”13″>Juventus and Inter striker also commented on his new autobiography – “I am Zlatan” – which has been in the headlines recently.
“I thought it was my time to tell my story,” he continued. “Especially for my fans who go out there and buy a newspaper in which 90 per cent is not correct.
“Now they will get my story. It is 100 per cent truth and comes from my mouth. As I said just go out and buy one, read one.”
