Zlatan Ibrahimovic can become the third player after Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to score 300 goals in the best European leagues.

The 40-year-old has netted 299 league goals since his move from Ajax to Juventus in 2004. He scored 23 goals with the Bianconeri, 57 with Inter, 73 with Milan, 17 with Manchester United, 16 with Barcelona and 113 with PSG.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport points out, only Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi have scored more than 300 league goals in the 2000s.

Ronaldo has 482: 311 with Real Madrid, 81 with Juventus and 90 with Manchester United.

Messi scored 474 goals with Barcelona and has only found the net once in the Ligue 1 games this season.

Ibrahimovic returned for a second spell at Milan in January 2020 and has netted six goals in 13 appearances across all competitions with the Rossoneri this season.

He is expected to start in Milan’s attack tomorrow when the Diavoli visit Udinese at the Dacia Arena.

Milan were eliminated from the Champions League, finishing bottom of Group B with four points in six matches.

  1. The difference is Ronalfo/Messi have scored in the top level where Ibra hasn’t
He is definatly hasent been at there level

  2. I’m sure that the oldies Ibra and Giroud will hold ACM progress
I would move them on ASAP,
as @DM said invest in good youngsters

  3. @Sempre italia I never said for ACM to invest in youngsters
    but would agree and being
a seria A, fan that if ACM want to progress
I would definetly get rid of Ibra and also Giroud who was a bad signing for good youngsters.

  4. He’ll be in the club of 300 years old maybe. Or is he already? I agree, dump these old guys. Ibra looked horrid during Liverpool match. At THAT level of game he is maybe useless.

  5. Agree get rid of Ibra all he does score against the small teams sticks out his chest like he’s superman and gets injured and doesn’t play for weeks and OMG Giroud the slow coach donkey what is his purpose

  6. If Ajax, Rubentus, Inter, MILAN, P$G, Barcelona, Man U are not top level what is? this is 300 goals in the “top” leagues he already has over 400 league goals. Is he past his best ? ofc he is, but he is bringing a lot more than goals to MILAN he’s bringing a winning mentality to the young players around him, I hope he will stay another season on same contract terms of most his wages being performance related and get a quality young striker to work and learn alongside him (im looking at you Vlahovic).
