Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has no intention of returning to Italy even amid interest from Juventus, according to his agent.

The Holland international left Milan in the summer after finding regular first team football hard to come by under Leonardo.

He appeared reluctant at first, but Huntelaar has since settled in Germany, scoring 10 goals in 21 games for the struggling Bundesliga side.

Juventus have been repeatedly linked with the 27-year-old prompting Gigi Del Neri to comment on that interest in a Press Conference yesterday.

"He is one of many names put forward, but I believe that it would be difficult for him to leave Schalke."

Huntelaar's agent Arnold Oosterveer has since confirmed as much, telling journalists: "Yes, I have heard about these rumours, but I want to say that I have never been contacted by Juventus nor by Schalke.

"They are only rumours. Klaas-Jan is happy in Germany and never asked to find a new club."
