Italian sports paper reacted to Ionut Radu’s howler against Bologna: ‘It will be difficult to get over it,’ wrote La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Radu cost Inter the victory against the Rossoblu and, perhaps, his mistake will prove to be decisive in the title race given that the Nerazzurri have failed to leapfrog Milan on top of the table and remain two points behind their city rivals with just four games remaining.
Inevitably, the Romania international was the worst player on the pitch. He was rated 3/10 by Gazzetta and Tuttosport and 4 by Il Corriere dello Sport.
“Handanovic’s abdomen gifted him his first start in Serie A with Inter and a nightmare for his career,” wrote Gazzetta.

“We’ll if the howler will cost Inter the title, but it will be tough for everyone to get over it.”
Tuttosport tried to reassure the 24-year-old, saying that “It’s very sad to see him desperate after what happened. Courage.”
Some of his teammates, including Denzel Dumfries, gathered around the former Genoa man to cheer him up yesterday, while the reaction of Samir Handanovic has made Inter fans talk, given that the Inter captain left the pitch without saying a word to his teammate after the game.

So how exactly did he cost Inter the victory? The game was even at that point as far as I remember.
All I’ll say is it’s 1 bad moment in a game where Inter had a lot of control and a lot of chances. If the game ends 5-2 this incident becomes irrelevant. Same with some Milan games this season. In the Spezia game the controversial decision doesn’t matter if we take our chances earlier in the game.

I will also add that the player has only featured in approx 3 games over the last 2 years, and so to come into such an important game with next to no match fitness really does the player no favors either.
Bottom line, Inter last night, as they have been for most of 2022, have been far from convincing, collectively.
Milan kidnapped the actual Radu, gave Castillejo a haircut and sent him in his place instead.
This is the conspiracy Inter fans. Dig into this, don’t let Milan get away with this.
