Lazio signing Wesley Hoedt looks forward to his move, saying he’s ‘ready’ to face the likes of Juventus and Roma.
The AZ Alkmaar was confirmed to be signing for the Aquile in January, but won’t actually make the move until July.
“AZ were crucial for my physical and professional growth,” Hoedt told soccernews.nl.
“A lot of my teammates were ready to move to other teams, but I wasn’t, I was too slight and skinny.

“I’ll face players like [Carlos] Tevez of Juventus, or [Roma’s Francesco] Totti, and they’ll try to use their skills to cause my problems.
“I’m ready.”
