Gonzalo Higuain’s father has revealed that the striker could end his career at Juventus, even if ‘we would like him to retire at River Plate.’

New Juve boss Maurizio Sarri has brought Higuain back into the first-team fold after spells at Milan and Chelsea last season.

The 31-year-old has since been linked with a move to Roma, but Jorge sees his son winding down at the Bianconeri or formative club River.

“Gonzalo’s in a good place,” he told Continental Ctes.
