Juventus threw away a 2-0 lead after Paulo Dybala scored one and created another for Juan Cuadrado, as two Wojciech Szczesny howlers and a dramatic Cristiano Ronaldo final twist saw Udinese draw 2-2.

Dybala had given Max Allegri’s men the ideal start with a well-taken finish, then his inspired cross-field pass sent Cuadrado through for 2-0.

However, Szczesny was twice at fault for the Udinese comeback, first bringing down Tolgay Arslan for the penalty, then caught in possession for Gerard Deulofeu to score.

There was stoppage-time drama as Ronaldo came off the bench to nod in Federico Chiesa’s cross, but after a long wait, VAR confirmed he was marginally offside.
