“I feel good in England,” Hernandez told TodoMercadoWeb.

“I struggled in the first year, with the language and especially because it’s very different to Italian football, it’s dynamic, faster and most players have great technique.

“In the first training sessions and first games I struggled, but I’ve adapted.

“The main thing is to get to the Premier League with Hull City, then play in Europe for Hull or a bigger team.

“I’d like to return to Italy, but only for a big club like Juventus, Napoli or Inter. Finally I’d go back to Palermo, where I was very happy.”

Hernandez was then asked about his best memories from his time in Sicily.

“I remember many things, for example the Coppa Italia final against Inter, my first goal in a Palermo shirt, and the goal against Milan in the Coppa Italia semi-finals.

“Those are unforgettable things for me.”
