The Gazzetta dello Sport today reported that the Italian giants could prove successful in netting the tactician.

Although the Coach's agent has rejected talk of a summer move given that Guardiola is contracted until 2012, Suarez thinks the switch may happen at one stage.

"He'd be happy to come and we spoke about it in December," the former Inter and Barca player told Mediaset. "He wouldn't be able to say no to Massimo Moratti.

"I've known Guardiola for some time. I think he'd want to take on another challenge and Inter could be the right side.

"He could do well in Italy, but it is up to Inter."

Inter are currently bossed by former Milan tactician Leonardo who replaced Rafael Benitez on Christmas Eve.
