Sebastian Giovinco has admitted that it will be tough to watch Italy’s friendlies against Poland and Uruguay after pulling out of the squad with injury.

“It’s always disappointing to not be able to play for the international side,” the No 10 told Sky Sport Italia.
“What did boss Cesare Prandelli say to me? Well, he didn’t say that I am guaranteed a place in this squad.
“He just asked me to continue doing what I have been doing so far this term. It is up to me to make sure that he continues to have faith in me.”
Giovinco, part-owned by Juventus, picked up an injury in his club’s 1-0 loss at Lazio in Serie A last Sunday.
“It’s not a serious problem, but it is a muscle issue which means you always have to be careful. I hope to be back when Serie A resumes, though, in the game against Udinese.”
