Milan are monitoring Paulo Dybala’s situation as there is still no confirmation of a transfer to Inter but the Rossoneri have some specific conditions, according to reports in Italy.

The Argentina forward is a free agent after his contract with Juventus expired and is widely expected to join Inter.

Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta said on Monday the club hope to sign Dybala but they would be prepared to focus on other targets if the transfer does not go through.

And Gazzetta dello Sport report Milan are waiting in the wings in case there is a chance they could snatch the 28-year-old from under their rivals’ noses.

However, the report while adds, the Rossoneri’s transfer specialists Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara would be on board with the deal, the club’s policy dictates that any move would be subject to the forward accepting a significantly lower salary.

Dybala scored 115 goals in 293 appearances across all competitions for Juve since joining in 2015.

  1. Just do it.

If you don’t have enough transfer budget then go the extra mile for him and sign the guy. That position is free and Milan probably need him more than any other team.

Makes me wonder now why Milan let Kessie and Romagnoli go if they don’t even have the money to replace them with players on cheaper salaries.

  2. Lol Juventus broke what agreement now? There were months of negotiations and several offers from Juventus — ALL rejected by Dybala and entourage because they wanted more money, despite hardly featuring because of injuries.

Good luck inter/Milan with this greedy injury-prone guy.

  3. The salary was the whole reason he left Juve so it is unlikely he is willing to give up anything in that regard.

Its very sad Milan seems to be broke after such a big season. They should be spending to compete in CL where they can earn the money back with a good placement.

  4. Gio – no Dybala left Juventus because the club said they no longer considered him part of their plans – Dybala wanted to stay, that’s why he cried in his last game.

  5. Milan do not want to spend much money…may they think that with cheap player salary they have won the scudetto….that is wrong. Next season Inter ready to take over the throphy..
