Reports suggest Roma President James Pallotta has decided to sack Rudi Garcia, but it won't be announced today.

The Coach is under severe pressure after a poor run of results, and was whistled at the conclusion of Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Milan.

SportMediaset reports that Pallotta has decided to relieve Garcia of his duties, and will inform directors Walter Sabatini and Frederic Massara of his decision in a conference call this afternoon.

However, the move will not be officially announced today, with CEO Italo Zanzi and Coach Garcia in Zurich for the Ballon d’Or ceremony.

The American President is believed to have rejected the idea of a caretaker Coach, so Luciano Spalletti is in pole position to take over the Olimpico bench.
