PSG boss Christophe Galtier confirms Leandro Paredes is in talks with Juventus but relies on him and Napoli target Keylor Navas for Sunday’s game against Monaco.

The Bianconeri are looking for one last signing this summer and have set their sights on the former Roma and Empoli star as their priority target in the middle of the park.

Juventus and PSG will also meet in the Champions League group stage and Galtier has shared his thoughts on the meetings with the Bianconeri and their interest in Paredes.

“Juventus are a huge club, they won the Champions League many years ago and they were recently finalists. So we will face a team accustomed to playing in this competition in a stadium with a fantastic atmosphere,” he said at a press conference.

“I can’t say much about Juventus’ current form, I am just focused on my team. They have former PSG players Angel Di Maria who made history here and Adrien Rabiot, who came through the ranks here and Moise Kean as well.

“As for Leandro Paredes, nothing is done at the moment, we will see how it goes by the end of the transfer window. There are talks ongoing, I know he’s been in talks with Juventus, which is normal during the transfer window. At the moment, he is a PSG player and has always been involved in our games.”

PSG are in talks with other Serie A clubs such as Inter and Napoli. The Partenopei could sell Fabian Ruiz and get Keylor Navas, while Inter have rejected several offers for Milan Skriniar.

“Keylor Navas is a PSG player, he got injured last week before the game, but he is playing normally and will be in the squad tomorrow,” said Galtier.

“Skriniar? I have no comments to make. In the last few days, it will change a lot. There are players with us waiting to leave and players waiting to join us. We will see how it will end.”

Fabian Ruiz has been frozen out of the Napoli squad as he refused to sign a contract extension with the Partenopei. His current deal runs out in June 2023, so he could leave as a free agent at the end of the season if Napoli don’t sell him earlier.

This season, Keylor Navas is PSG’s second-choice goalkeeper and is looking to get playing time elsewhere.

Skriniar’s contract with Inter runs out in June 2023, so the Nerazzurri will rush to extend his contract if, as expected, he doesn’t leave this summer.
