“He is enjoying the moment. He knows it was an important goal. He received a warm welcome, and he is reaping the rewards of his job,” his agent Pablo Caro told FcInterNews.

“He is a strong player with great skills. He is happy in Benevento. The dressing room is united, and everyone is working for a common target.”

The Argentinean striker was linked with Inter, Juventus and Milan in January.

“There was an interest, but nothing concrete. Now we are happy in Benevento,” the agent claimed.

“Hopefully, he’ll have a bright future in Serie A. Like Batistuta at Fiorentina, or Crespo at Parma and Inter, and there are so many other examples.

“We hope we can have similar opportunities. We’ll see what happens, hoping to join a top club like Milan, Juventus or Roma one day.
