Nicknamed ‘El Tanque’ – or ‘The Tank’ in English – the Argentine stands at 190cm and scored five goals in 12 games for San Lorenzo before the coronavirus lockdown.
He picked up his first Argentina cap last September and, with a €13m release clause and a contract due to expire next year, would fit into the Rossoneri’s financial parameters.
Fellow Serie A sides Lazio and Roma have also been linked with Gaich in the previous 12 months.
