The Derby d’Italia is more alive than ever as Juventus and Inter tussle for various common transfer targets this summer.

The two clubs are both desperate to close the gap with Napoli following their disappointing finishes last season and both have already come to blows in the transfer market recently.

Inter had been working to set up a new deal for Romelu Lukaku but gave up after learning of his negotiations with Juventus, which reportedly started just before the Champions League final last month.

Tuttosport highlights how Juventus and Inter share a number of common transfer targets this summer beyond Lukaku, starting with Spezia full back Emil Holm. Also in the sights of both is Udinese’s Lazar Samardzic.

Inter beat Juventus to Davide Frattesi and are also reportedly ready to welcome Juan Cuadrado on a one-year deal. The two rivals are also keeping an eye on Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata, although Roma are seemingly leading the race for the Spaniard.
