Roma-owned Alessandro Florenzi has been diagnosed with chickenpox, announced Valencia, so it’s not clear how long he will be out for.

The 28-year-old made the move to the Mestalla on a six-month loan in January and his time there has already been eventful.

He has made three competitive appearances for the club and was sent off for a straight red card offence in the 3-0 Liga defeat to Getafe.

Now a statement released by Valencia confirms Florenzi has been diagnosed with adult chickenpox.
