Following rumours of an offer from Leicester City, Fiorentina published a picture of Nico Gonzalez on Instagram and most fans are begging the club not to sell the Argentinean.
Sky Sport Italia reported on Tuesday that the Foxes had offered €34m to sign the Argentina international in January.
According to the report, the Serie A side are considering the offer coming from the King Power Stadium, although fans do not want to see Nico leave.
The 24-year-old has been struggling with injuries this season but had a great debut campaign at the Stadio Franchi in 2021-22, amassing eight goals and nine assists in 39 appearances across all competitions.
Fiorentina published a picture of the former Stuttgart winger on Instagram this morning, receiving hundreds of comments from fans who beg the club not to sell the player.
Fiorentina sold Dusan Vlahovic to Juventus for €80m a year ago, and fans don’t want to see another idol leave the club in January. Some of them would accept a big-money sale only if the club re-invested the earnings in new signings, something they didn’t do after Vlahovic left in 2022.
