Olympique Marseille have reportedly reached an agreement with Fiorentina to pay €13m for Pol Lirola and the Viola are ready to close a deal with Chelsea full-back Davide Zappacosta.

SportItalia reports the deal between the Ligue 1 side and the Florentines is done and the Spanish right-back should complete a move to Marseille, where he spent the last six months on loan.

The Viola are now working to replace the 24-year-old with Italian full-back Zappacosta, who joined Chelsea from Torino in August 2017.

Zappacosta has since spent time on loan with Roma and Genoa, but his deal expires in June 2022 and could arrive on a permanent transfer to the Artemio Franchi.

The broadcaster claims Fiorentina have already reached an agreement with both the player and Chelsea, despite reported interest from Atalanta in recent weeks.

Lirola arrived at Fiorentina, initially on loan in August 2019, but was since signed on a permanent deal in September 2020.

He played 52 competitive games with Fiorentina and appeared 22 times in the second half of 2020-21 with Marseille in France, where he now will complete a permanent move.
