Former Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira has announced he is retiring from football at the age of 34.

The Germany international is currently at Hertha Berlin, where he has made just eight appearances, providing two assists.

He spent most of his career at Real Madrid from 2020-15, then moved to Juve from 2015 to February 2021.

His career has been beset by injuries, making just 145 appearances in the Bianconeri jersey over five years.
